Ms Thuynsma has spent 18 years working in the South

non-profit sector in managing fundraising, local and

conferences, event logistics, diplomatic protocol, and
media relations. She
is a University of the Witwatersrand (Johannesburg,
South Africa) graduate,
received her MA in applied politics from the University
of Akron (Ohio), and
attended Yale Law School to complete her specialization
in fundraising and
political campaign strategy.

Organizational development; strategic planning; research, fundraising design &
implementation
Dr Thuynsma is an independent consultant currently heading
up the Department
of Institutional Development at the University of Pretoria, South Africa. He
has worked in tertiary education and community service organizations since
1978 in SA, the USA and Europe.
